Company history

April 1992 – registration of Vassma research and production firm, Rivne city

1992 – 1994 – participation in scientific research and production of insecticides together with Russel Uclaf (France) and KPI (Ukraine);

1994 – pesticides pre-packaging startup, cooperation with Rise company (Ukraine);

1996 – Rise holding acquires Vassma research and production firm (Rivne city);

1998 – first contract signed to pre-package pesticides for Aventis international company (Germany);

2005 – Vassma receives a right to pre-package pesticides for the majority of international companies represented in Ukraine - Bayer, Syngenta, Cheminova, Basf, Nufarm, Arysta, etc.;

2005 – creation of Trade House Vassma, separation of Vassma from Rise group of companies, creation of the Vassma holding;

2006 – the beginning of Vassma brand commodity production;

2006 – Trade House Vassma becomes #1 distribution company on the crop protection market for the population of Ukraine (by the sales volume and the number of subsidiaries);

2006 – Seed department of the Trade House Vassma starts operations. According to 2006 – 2007 season results, Trade House Vassma is in the top three leaders by the sales volume on the packed vegetable, spices and flower seeds market of Ukraine;

2006 – Vassma Agro  joins Vassma holding, with PET-package manufacturing for the crop protection and other products as a main business direction;

2006 – creation of the Vassma national retail net, involving more than 200 specialized stores all over Ukraine;

2006 - Vassma enters the distribution market of crop protection products for agricultural producers. According to 2006 – 2007 season results, Trade House Vassma is in the top five leaders of the mentioned market in Ukraine;

2006 – 1^st International conference “Agricultural technologies in small household and farmer enterprises” takes place in Sudak;

2007 – acquisition of 5 retail premises for crop protection products, agrochemicals, seeds and accompanying goods distribution;

2007 – 2^nd International conference “Agricultural technologies in small household and farmer enterprises” takes place in Sudak;

2008 – III International conference «Vassma retail net: effective business and new opportunities» takes place in Sudak;

2009 – ІV International conference «Vassma retail net: effective business and new opportunities» takes place in Yalta;

2009 – company opens a small-wholesale brand store representing a wide variety of exclusive Vassma products along with the goods of our partners in Kyiv.
